MEMBERS’ COLLABORATIVE PROJECT SHOW

May 8th-June 30th, opening reception June 5th, 5 - 7 pm

Ten printmakers at Two Rivers Printmaking Studio have challenged each other to create art from a collection of interesting junk.  Each artist prepared a box containing objects: feathers, shells, bottle caps, fabric, ribbon, Bandaids, old garments, etc. The box could include almost anything. These boxes were selected at random among the participating artists, who then pushed themselves to think 'out of the box’ in creatively responding to its unique contents of their chosen box. 

This challenge has brought artists in this community together to commiserate, share stories of progress and frustration, and to support each other in letting go of our typical creative response, stepping into entirely new territory.  

Join us for our First Friday June 5th Reception as we reveal the results of this unusual process!  

Additional Exhibition Information: Two Rivers Gallery hours are Thurs and Fri, 1 - 4 pm, and by chance or appointment. Two Rivers Printmaking Studio is located at 85 N Main St, Suite 160 in White River Junction, VT, and it free to the public as well as wheelchair accessible. A selection of our 25TH ANNIVERSARY FOUNDERS’ SHOW continues

To celebrate our twenty-fifth anniversary, we recently mounted a show featuring the artwork of our original and foundational members- exceptional printmakers, every single one. Artists included in the extension of the show: Elizabeth Rowland Mayor, Mary Mead, Jennifer Anderson, Sheri Hancock, Susan Berry, and Nancy Wightman.
