White Line Woodcuts with Marilyn Syme
Also known as Provincetown Prints, white line woodcuts are a distinctive technique of multicolored prints cut from a single block of wood. Small grooves between the elements of a design create the white lines in the image. This process uses watercolor paints and can be done without a press. Marilyn Syme, the instructor, has decades of experience as a painter and printmaker and is passionate about this art form.
